The photographer is also a Amateur Radio operator and was involved in   "smuggling " messages out of Kuwait to the State Department,  Desert   storm,  and to Charles Kuralt at CBS News throughout  the middle east  war (and others). 

A television special shows the heroic efforts of a Kuwaiti citizen who was literally The Last Voice From Kuwait.  Wartime insight to the invasion from occupied Kuwait, is secretly transmitted to amateur radio operators in the US .

 The Kuwait photos taken by the photographer on his two trips to Kuwait , one trip right after the war ended and the second to celebrate, with the Kuwaiti people, their first anniversary of freedom.
